The holiday season takes on a new Soul for shoppers this year, with the development's commercial division announcing today that a range of big-name companies would be open and trading in flagship stores by Christmas.

Juniper Group Retail Property Portfolio Manager Lorraine Malloch said the Christmas openings would create a unique atmosphere for relaxed destination shopping on the Gold Coast.
"Christmas will certainly be an exciting time to visit Soul as the development continues its transformation towards becoming one of Australia's premier shopping and dining destinations," Ms Malloch said.
She said visitors would be in for another tasty treat early in the New Year when Soul unveils its major beach dining precinct on The Esplanade.
Featuring a 114m beachfront frontage on The Esplanade and a 55m frontage to Cavill Mall, Soul and its retail precinct are expected to attract a new level of fashion, style and excitement to the world famous Surfers Paradise strip.
Soul is the centrepiece of the multi-billion dollar revitalisation of Surfers Paradise, which includes the redevelopment of a 200-metre stretch of foreshore that will transform The Esplanade into a sweeping expanse for pedestrians, sun-seekers and outdoor diners.
